For those living in the US and Canada, 75 Ball Bingo will be the most familiar version of this popular number-based game. And, like most bingo variations, 75 Ball Bingo just couldnt simpler.

Each player is given a card which displays a grid containing five rows vertically and five rows horizontally. The grid you will see before you will contain 24 spaces and one free or space (which is typically the centre square of the grid). Predetermined numbers are placed in the other squares and these are the numbers that player will play bingo with.

The first column of the card will contain randomly chosen numbers which fall between one and 15; the second will contain numbers that fall between 16 and 30; the third column will have numbers between 31 and 45; the fourth column will show numbers between 46 and 60, while the fifth column will contain numbers which fall between, you guessed it, 61 and 75. 

The aim of the game is to cross off your numbers as they are chosen at random from a rotating tombola which contains 75 balls. Of course, in the case of internet based bingo a random number generator is used.  

During the game players arent always simply required to cross off all of their numbers, as some variations of the game have different patterns selected before each game takes place. For instance, the game could just require you to cross off a square in each corner of the grid, or it could take the form of a letter of the alphabet, a numerical digit, and even such shapes as a heart or smiley face.

In the case of games which require all numbers to be crossed off, the game is called a since there will be no digits left in view.

Once all of the required numbers have been marked off on the bingo card, the player will stand up and shout, at the top of their voice, to indicate that they have won - though whether or not you choose to do this in your own home will of course depend very much upon your own preferences (and the understanding nature of your neighbours).

With an almost limitless number of patterns to the game of 75 Ball Bingo, and the randomly selected numbers for both your card and the numbers chosen, each game of bingo will differ from the last.
